More… We are raising money to get us ready for the new animal shelter to open. Our goal is to save as many animals as possible. Donations from you helps us meet that goal. Financial donations come in several forms: •Corporate or Executive Level Donations: $10,000 or more will be offered naming rights to specific display areas of the shelter and will be listed on our shelter Wall of Honor. The following level sponsors will be displayed on the shelter Wall of Honor in one of the three categories. •Gold Level Donations: $5,000 or More •Silver Level Donations: $1,000 to under $5,000 •Bronze Level Donations: $250 to under $1,000 Plaques will list either your name, company’s name, pet’s name, or other limited printing you’d like on the display. Your donation will become a permanent part of the shelter and your donation is tax deductible under IRS Code Section 170(c). Less…

More… The Mount Pleasant Police Department and Titus County Sheriff’s Office has long recognized that clergy and their congregations are an abundant and dynamic community resource. In order to more fully engage the faith-based community in our combined Community Policing concept, a Clergy and Police Alliance (CAPA) program has been developed. This program is a unique ministerial opportunity. CAPA members and their organizations will be called upon to pray for their police department members, to be intentional in the building of relationships with police officers and other governmental officials, be available on a voluntary basis and ride with officers on patrol to view and evaluate community issues, and be available for crisis interaction involving our community members with follow-up ministerial services.
