Electrician – The City of Mount Pleasant is accepting applications for an Electrician.  Must have a Journeyman Electrician License and at least 5 years’ experience.  Will be responsible for maintenance of City facilities.  Salary depending on qualifications. 

Accounting Assistant/Payroll Clerk-The City of Mount Pleasant is seeking applications for the position of Accounting Assistant/Payroll Clerk.  High school diploma required with Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred.  Must be organized with the ability to meet reporting deadlines, and possess flexibility in multiple job responsibilities.  Duties include entering deposits and invoices, check processing, reconciling multiple bank statements, preparing journal entries, bi-weekly payroll entry and maintenance, and other duties as may be assigned.  Requires one-year experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash handling duties. 


PART-TIME FIREFIGHTER
The City of Mount Pleasant is accepting applications for Part-time Firefighter.  Must be commission certified or certifiable through the Texas Commission on Fire Protection and have a Class “B” driver’s license.  Applicants must have a good driving record and must be able to pass a physical performance assessment.

The City of Mount Pleasant is accepting applications for this position.  High School diploma or GED required.  TCOLE certified preferred.  Minimum starting pay is $40,345.  The agency offers a lateral transfer program, pay is DOQ.
