Don’t miss our annual Family Winter Wonderland, Thursday, January 20, at 6 p.m. The fun takes place in the garden. Get ready for S’mores, hot chocolate and SNOW!
The Pulpwood Queen Book Club also meets Thursday at 6 p.m. This month’s book is The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune. Bring a snack.
Once Upon a Time, a winter writers’ workshop takes place Saturday, January 22, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Everyone is welcome and registration is open. The fee is $35 for adults and $10 for students with ID. Dr. Lavert and our own Jared Chapman will be the speakers. The workshop is for anyone interested in writing children’s books. The Texas Library Association chooses 25 books each year to be read for pure enjoyment. I’m happy to say we have most of the 2022 Lariat List in the library.
