The City of Mount Pleasant parks system is one of the best in Northeast Texas. The available sports and recreational facilities provide the entire area with opportunities to be involved both as a spectator and participant.
All of our sports facilities are available for reservation. You need not be a resident of Mount Pleasant or Titus County to use the parks facilities.
Our parks system includes 7 pavilions, 4 youth softball fields, 3 adult softball fields, 8 youth baseball fields, 5 tennis courts, 5 basketball courts, 1 youth football field, 1 youth soccer complex and 1 adult soccer field, 1 skate park, 1 volleyball court, 1 small lake and pier, 1 reflecting pool, 4 walking trails and 3 playgrounds.

Caldwell Park

Caldwell Park in downtown Mount Pleasant on the corner of West 2nd Street and Van Buren is a great place to bring a sack lunch, or just to relax on one of its comfortable benches.
The lighted gazebo is the perfect setting for a wedding, a birthday party or a baby shower. With a new splash pad, Caldwell Park is a convenient and fun place to take the kids for warm-weather fun. The perimeter of the park is 1/5 mile in length for those wishing to stroll underneath the shady pecan, oak and magnolia trees.
Dellwood Park

Dellwood Park’s 45 acres offer many amenities as well as a pleasant area to enjoy the out of doors. As in the days when deer and the Caddo Indians roamed the area, visitors are invited to enjoy watching the quiet flow of the springs that for thousands of years have fed into the stream known as Town Branch.
Amenities include lighted tennis courts, baseball fields, lighted basketball courts, volleyball court/sand, lighted pavilions, playground, outdoor stage, restrooms, reflecting pond and deck area. picnic tables and a lighted walking trail: East-1,550′ (.29 mi), West-1,850′ (.35 mi)
Edwards Park

Edwards Park is the location of the City’s skate park. Two softball fields, restrooms and picnic tables are located in the park. The park features many mature trees providing cooling shade in the summer months.
Ellis Park
Gibson Street

Ellis Park is on Gibson Street between West 10th and West 12th. This 1/2-acre park holds two picnic tables and with its woodsy feel is a beautiful retreat when you want to relax with a book or a picnic lunch.
Fair Park

Fair Park, located south of the Mount Pleasant Civic Center, includes baseball fields for youth from age 5 to 14. A convenient pavilion, concession stands and restrooms are available for those attending games or tournaments.
Heritage Park

Heritage Park is located on 60 acres with easy access from both Interstate 30 and US Highway 67 (West 16th Street) and is the setting for the Titus County Youth Softball league, adult soccer, basketball and softball leagues.
Amenities include softball fields, soccer/football field, basketball court, disc golf course, tennis courts, volleyball court, large pavilion, picnic stations, playground, ½ mile lighted walking trail, 3 acre lake, handicap accessible fishing piers and restrooms/concession buildings.
Keith Park
W. 7th and Gibson

Located on 7th Street between Gibson and Crockett, this 1-acre park is the place to go if you are looking for an impromptu game of basketball, a place for the kids to romp and play, or a nice picnic spot.
Oaklawn Park

The 15-acre Oaklawn Park features baseball/softball fields, a splash pad, lighted pavilion, restroom/concession building, covered basketball courts, picnic tables and a lighted walking trail and playgrounds. It is adjacent to the Pilgrim’s Community Center.
R.L. Jurney

R.L. Jurney Park is a 22-acre complex with soccer fields, a pavilion, playground, basketball court and a restroom/concession building.
Town Lake

Town Lake Park’s features an 89-acre lake and 12 acres of park area with restrooms, a lighted pavilion, picnic tables and grills, 2 boat ramps and areas for fishing. For boating and fishing activities Texas Parks and Wildlife regulations apply.

The Sports Complex is the jewel in the crown of our park system featuring soccer fields, walking trails, pavilions, restrooms, kid’s playground, a splash pad, small lake and ample parking. All situated within a wooded greenbelt.
