DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT SERVICES
Mount Pleasant is seeking a new Director of Development Services to join their dynamic municipal team to help encourage and guide the development in the growing community. The next Director will bring a proven history in city planning to this multifaceted role, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure a coordinated, successful end-result for a variety of projects.
The Director of Development Services must be a strategic and creative thinker, possessing exceptional leadership and management skills, and must be ready to embrace and maintain strong partnerships with our development community to prioritize smart, sustainable growth and enhance the quality of life in Mount Pleasant. Primary areas of responsibility include Planning, Building Inspections, and Code Enforcement, as well as working to establish strong zoning ordinances and implementing the comprehensive plan.
