February’s Library Reads list continues with It’s One of Us by JT Ellison. “JT Ellison has written a beautiful story from start to finish. Olivia and Park struggle with infertility. A woman is found dead, and DNA shows the murderer is related to Park. Not only is this a well-done mystery of whodunit, it is also a drama of what happens as a couple deals with loss. This is another great book from an incredible author and is for fans of All the Dangerous Things.” (2-21) Andrea Galvin

I Have Some Questions for You by Rebecca Makkai is an “engaging story of a boarding school murder being solved 20 years later by true-crime podcast enthusiasts. Or is it a story of memories and how you interact with them, depending on your stage in life and your biases, or one about how a teen can simultaneously know everything and nothing? Or is it all three? This one’ for fans of Jean Hanff Korelitz.” (2-21) Lorri Steinbacher

Samantha Shannon returns with A Day of Fallen Night. “Fans of The Priory of the Orange Tree will be thrilled to revisit the intricately detailed world Shannon has created. In this standalone prequel, the stories of four women are spun out as the Deadmount erupts and civilizations crumble. The large cast of characters is deftly handled, and readers will enjoy the fascinating mythology.” (2-28) Beth Mills

Circle April 1 on your calendar for an Evening of Art at the Library. Details will be available soon, but you can look forward to an evening of beautiful artwork, delicious refreshments and great music.

We’re still available to show you how to download books from Libby. Come by and ask for Lupe. She’s in charge of Appy Hour, which is usually any hour of the day. Also, feel free to ask about Ancestry.Com which is now available in the library. And, check out CreativeBug for something fun to make!

Happy reading and we’ll look for you at the library!
