Oaklawn Juneteenth Celebration Offers Family Fun for All on June 17

The community is invited to enjoy family fun for all at the Oaklawn Park Juneteenth Festival on June 17 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Organized by Councilman Jerry Walker, there will be many food vendors, cornhole, free throw and three-point tournaments and face painting. The City is providing miniature train rides, pony rides, water slides, a DJ/music and free ice cream sundaes and snow cones.

There will be a Dedication Service at 6 p.m. For information, contact Councilman Walker at 903-573-5497.

Masks and social distancing are recommended. Oaklawn Park is located at1103 Searcy Ave., Mount Pleasant, TX 75455.
