EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT – Robert Tuck
!!Meet Bob Tuck!!
We asked Bob what he would like the world to know about him, he replied, “Honestly not much. I’m a pretty private person, and the less the world knows about me, the safer I’d feel.” Thank you, Bob, for sharing, we’ll keep it short and simple.
Bob has been with the city since December 2007 and works at the water plant. He said his favorite parts of his job would be the solitude of working by himself, and the feeling of satisfaction from providing a needed service to the community. He also said he’s pretty good at eyeballing 10 milliliters of water without having to measure.
We asked him what the most significant challenge he’s had to face in his career. He said, “Obtaining my certification for work, this was accomplished by finally learning algebra.” How about the best career advice given and from whom? He said his dad would tell him every night as he would leave for work, “Don’t poison the city tonight!” I thought that was hilarious! You can tell he has a good sense of humor. We are so happy to have Bob as a dedicated city employee who looks after our water supply for us. His job is important, and we appreciate all that he does for the city and our community!
