REQUIREMENTS

A fee of $75.00 will be charged. Establishment not to operate more than 7 consecutive days. Establishments that are for charity, church or public welfare are exempt from fee, but ARE subject to all other provisions. Permit is to be posted in view of customer.
Permitted Items Products allowed for sale include but are not limited to: Locally grown vegetables, fruits, nuts, grains, flowers, plants, honey, eggs, as well as homemade baked goods in keeping with the Texas Cottage Food Laws, jams, jellies, pickles, spices, dried fruit, and dried vegetables. Handcrafted arts and crafts items, artisan paintings and photography.
1. I understand that only items listed above are approved for sale at the Market. 2. All homemade, baked, or canned items must be in compliance with the Texas Cottage Food Law including adhering to packaging and labeling requirements, and obtaining a Texas Food Handler’s Card. All food vendors must include a list of allergens on each package of every product at the market. 3.Vendors are liable for their own products. The City of Mount Pleasant and its members shall not beheld liable for the products offered by vendors.
