EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT – PAUL THOMAS

!!Meet Paul Thomas!!

Paul became a city employee in 2019 and began working at the Civic Center in Event Services. His favorite part of his job is running sound equipment and working on the mixing board.

Paul is from St. Petersburg, Florida. He and his wife Sarah moved to east Texas from the Dallas area in 2017 and bought their first house. They moved to Mount Pleasant to be closer to his wife’s parents and they have loved every minute of raising their kids, Emma (8) and Lily (6) here.

When asked to share a fun fact about himself, he mentioned when he was in Middle school, he took a class sponsored by Children’s Hospital with Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey to become a clown. He participated in parades and learned how to make balloon animals. He used his talent to bring joy to the children at different Children’s Hospitals as well.

Paul’s favorite things to do outside of work include spending time with his family. They love playing board games, video games, doing arts and crafts, painting, drawing, cooking, baking, and building things or fixing things together.
