Employee Spotlight – Ray Aguillon

Meet Ray Aguillon, a hardworking member of our Utilities Department, who has been serving the City of Mount Pleasant for the past 11 years.
Ray grew up in San Antonio, Texas, and is known for his dedication and strong work ethic. His favorite part of the job is working with his crew, which makes each day rewarding.
When he’s not on the job, Ray enjoys spending time with family, grilling, and working on other projects. He and his wife, Amanda, share two children: their daughter Bianca Aguillon and son Santos Aguillon.
One of Ray’s favorite childhood memories is growing up on the farm, which taught him the value of hard work early in life.
The best career advice he’s ever received is simple but powerful: “Help others.”
