Employee Spotlight – Sundi Jackson

This week, we are proud to highlight Sundi Jackson, a dedicated employee who has been serving the City of Mount Pleasant since 2021 in the Finance Department.

Sundi is originally from Naples, Texas. One of the things she enjoys most about her job is working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. She describes herself as more than what meets the eye, there is always more to learn about her.

A fun fact many may not know is that her middle name is Peaches.

Outside of work, Sundi enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and shopping. She has been married to her husband, Mitch Jackson, for 24 years. Together, they have four children: Kyle, Hylen, McKayla, and McKensi Jackson.

If she had a theme song, it would be “Seven Nation Army” by The White Stripes. The best career advice she has received and continues to live by, is to stretch beyond your comfort zone.
