PILGRIMS COMMUNITY CENTER GROUNDBREAKING

The City of Mount Pleasant will host a Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Pilgrims Community Center in Oaklawn Park on Thursday, March 17 at 4 p.m.

“We invite citizens to come celebrate the start of construction of this new community amenity with us,” said Mayor Tracy Craig Sr. “This is a great investment in our City and its people that will accommodate multiple activities at the same time in the beautiful park setting. Great care has been taken in the design to enhance the park, not change it.”

The City facility was spurred by Pilgrims’ donation of $1.45 million through its Hometown Strong program, created to give back to the communities in which the company operates and its employees live.
