Don’t forget to bring your state-issued ID and proof of residence to the library to apply! Read the library’s Code of Conduct and Internet Safety policies, then choose from the membership options below. Parents applying for a juvenile card must also read the policy on Kids in the library.

CARD TYPE AND COST
Adult – Resident
- Resident of Mount Pleasant or Titus County
- Age 18 years or older
- Valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card
- Proof of residency in the form of a utility bill, rental agreement, etc., if license does not show current address.
- Physical address required. PO boxes will not be accepted as proof of residence.
Cost: Free
Juvenile – Resident
- Resident of Mount Pleasant or Titus County
- Age 17 years or younger
- Parent or legal guardian must apply for the juvenile card
- Parent or legal guardian must present a driver’s license or state-issued ID card
- Proof of residency if parent’s license or ID does not show current address

Cost: Free
Adult – Non Resident
- Not a resident of Mount Pleasant or Titus County
- Age 18 years or older
- Valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card

Cost: $20 per year
Juvenile – Non Resident
- Not a resident of Mount Pleasant or Titus County
- Age 17 years or younger

TexShare – Non Resident
- Age 18 years or older (Juveniles are not eligible for TexShare cards)

- Valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card
- Proof of residency if license or ID does not show current address
- Current TexShare card from home library
Cost: Free (TexShare Card must be renewed each year)

Lost or Stolen Library Cards
Patrons should notify the library immediately if a library card is lost or stolen in order to block access to their account. Patrons may request look-up of their account in order to checkout, but must have their ID available. Library patrons requesting a new card must clear their old account of fines, overdues, fees, etc. before a new card will be issued.
