NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON 2023-2024 BUDGET
/in PUBLIC NOTICEThe City Council for the City of Mount Pleasant will hold a public hearing to consider the Fiscal Year 2024 Proposed Budget on Tuesday September 5, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall located at 501 North Madison, Mount Pleasant Texas.
THIS BUDGET WILL RAISE MORE REVENUE FROM PROPERTY TAXES THAN LAST YEAR’S BUDGET BY $514,470, WHICH IS A 10% PERCENT INCREASE FROM LAST YEAR’S BUDGET. THE PROPERTY TAX REVENUE TO BE RAISED FROM NEW PROPERTY ADDED TO THE TAX ROLL THIS YEAR IS $88,807.
