Hold a public hearing to discuss and consider a request from Frauenshuh Inc. for the approval of a variance from the zoning code Sec. 155.27 to reduce the required parking from 1 space for each 200sf of floor space to 1 space for each 278sf of floor space, located on 2001 N Jefferson on property known as MT PLEASANT CITY BLOCKS BLK 316 LOT 6 4.8998 AC. Hold a public hearing to consider the request of Stephanie Zuniga, Jose Lopez, and Heladio Valerio, applicants/property owners, for the thoroughfare closure of a fifty-foot street right-of-way for a portion of Mollie Avenue that is adjacent to Lots 7-12, Block B, and Lots 1-5, Block C, Anderson Addition, City of Mount Pleasant, Titus County, Texas, and generally located between East 8th Street and East 9th Street, and take any action necessary.

PUBLIC HEARING: HAZARD MITIGATION ACTION PLAN

The City of Mount Pleasant Hazard Mitigation Team will hold a public meeting on September 11, 2023 and September 18, 2023 at 6 PM in the City Council Chambers located at 501 North Madison. The purpose of the meeting is to get input from the public on the City’s Hazard Mitigation Action Plan. The purpose of the Hazard Mitigation Action Plan is to implement actions to help reduce the loss of life and property due to the impacts of disasters.
