The City Council for the City of Mount Pleasant will hold a public hearing to consider the Fiscal Year 2025 Proposed Budget on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall located at 501 North Madison, Mount Pleasant Texas.
THIS BUDGET WILL RAISE MORE REVENUE FROM PROPERTY TAXES THAN LAST YEAR’S BUDGET BY $234,091 WHICH IS A 4% PERCENT INCREASE FROM LAST YEAR’S BUDGET. THE PROPERTY TAX REVENUE TO BE RAISED FROM NEW PROPERTY ADDED TO THE TAX ROLL THIS YEAR IS $172,577.
