PUBLIC NOTICE: ACCEPTING BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF PILGRIM’S COMMUNITY CENTER

Notice is hereby given that the City of Mount Pleasant, Texas will be accepting bids for the new construction of the Pilgrim’s Community Center. Bid packets will be available to General Contractors starting March 22, 2021, by email request. Requests may be made to the City Engineer, Andrew Zagars at azagars@mpcity.org. Bid packets will not be released directly to Sub-Contractors. Bids shall be sealed and clearly marked “Pilgrim’s Community Center.”

Sealed bids must be received by the City Engineer at 501 N. Madison, Mount Pleasant, Texas on or before 10:00 am CST on April 12, 2021 at which time the sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Council Chambers. Bids may be held by the City of Mount Pleasant for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of the opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. The City of Mount Pleasant reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids
